a note
solemn, gray
like the muted colors upon an oak tree's arm
a blanket for the weary
those weighed down by October's fog
rest your mane of autumn hair
sleep
Well, I remember a while ago, I saw a prompt "The Dying Season" and I wrote it down on my laptop for future reference. So, today, I decided to make something out of it.

This is heavily inspired by Tchaikovsky's October: Autumn Song, from the Seasons. If you've never heard it, I suggest you take a look here: [link] And while you're at it, you might want to look at the rest of the Seasons. They really are wonderful pieces, and some of my favorites.

So what did you think?
Did I capture the bleak mood of Autumn?
I didn't really like the line "upon an oak tree's arm". Any suggestions on how to improve it?

Please tell me what you think! :)
